Tuesday 12th January

39 ladies competed in this week's Ladies competition with the format being a Stableford which was held over 13 holes with 34 ladies competing. The winner was Sue Murphy who had a score of 31 Points to win by 1 Points. 2nd place went to Sarah Loy who finished with 30Points. Third place went to Gay Tole who had 28 Points over the 13 holes.

Thursday 14th January

21 entrants played in this week's Stableford Thursday competition held over 16 holes. The winner was Bill Oxley who had a score of 36 Points to win on a card playoff. In runner up spot was Iain Gourlay who also had 36 Points. Third place went to Ian Cairns who had 35 Points. Fourth place went to Roy Dleooze who had 34 Points. Finally fifth place went to John Goulding also with 34 Points to lose out to Roy on a card playoff but beat John Evans on a card playoff.

Saturday 16th January

This Saturday competition was a 16 hole Am-Am Stableford held on a frosty day with light snow later on the day. 139 players turned out to compete. The winning team, with a fantastic score of 85 Points, was Graham Adcroft, Mike Ashcroft, Dennis Rogers & Walter Winstanley to win by one point. The runners up were Steve Daniels, Tony Shaw, Andy Gordon & Mike Smith who managed 84 Points. Third place went to Matt Bromley, Chris Gray, Don Ward & Graham Scholes who had 82 Points. Fourth place went to a team of three in Greg Molyneaux, John Rutland & Deb Parrington who had 81 Points and beat two other teams on a card playoff.
