Tuesday 22nd April

This week's ladies competition was a Stableford with 43 ladies taking part. The winner of Division 1 was Barbara Booth with a score off 37 Points. Runner up was Fiona Davies with 36 Points. Division 2 was Pauline Cowell who had 35 Points and the runner up was Sue Greenhalgh who had 34 Points. The winner of Division 3 was Elaine Jenkins who managed a great score of 39 Points and in the process reduced her handicap down to 29.4. Runner up was Zubeida Ali who had 37 Points.

Thursday 24th April

This week's Thursday Stableford off the yellow tees was once again a busy one, with 92 players competing. The winner was, the man in form, Dave Fisher with a great score of 44 Points. This reduced his handicap down to 9.8. Runner up was John McGlough with a great score of 43 Points playing off a 5 handicap. Third place went to Chris Webster with 42 Points. Fourth place was decided by a card playoff as both players had 40 Points. Mike Smith managed to have a better back nine holes and therefore took fourth place over Paul Guest who had to settle for fifth place. The 9 hole stableford winner was Andy Wadbrook-McClay who had 18 Points.

Saturday 26th April

This Saturday was this year's first Monthly Medal & Isherwood Qualifier of the season with 177 players taking part. The Division 1 winner was Julian Hurst by two strokes with a fantastic score of 68 Gross 66 Nett. Julian, as a result, reduced his handicap down to 1.8. Runner up of Division 1 was Matt Bromley who had a 68 Nett. Third place was John Arber also with a 68 Nett after losing out on a card playoff. Division 2 winner was John Mulligan who managed a great score of 67 Nett meaning John reduced his handicap down to 18.1. Runner up of Division 2 went to Stan Marrs who had a 68 Nett. Third place went to Greg Ball who had a 69 Nett.
