Tuesday 17th May 

This week was our ladies exchange day with our ladies going over to play Preston Golf Club and Preston's ladies coming to play Warrington. The format was an Am-Am Stableford and the winning team consisted of Lena O'Connor, Margaret Marsden, Helena McNeil & Di Scholes. Runners up were Yvonne Potter, Alison Donaldson, Penny Sadler & Cheryl Thorpe. 

Thursday 19th May 

This week's Thursday Yellow tee Stableford had 78 players competing. The winner was Alan Ellis who had a great score of 44 Points to win by 3 points to reduce his handicap down to 8.1. Runner up was David Curry who had 40 Points to reduce his handicap down to 11.4. Third place went to Will Mackay who also had 40 Points to miss out on a card playoff but reduce his handicap down to 3.2. Fourth place went to Geoff Cox who also had 40 Points to reduce his handicap down to 9.6. Fifth place went to Tony Salt who also had 40 Points to miss out on the card playoff but reduce his handicap down to 9.9.

Saturday 21st May 

This week's Saturday competition was the Club Prize Bogey. 170 players competed in rainy conditions with the winner being Andy Gordon who had a great score of 4 Up to win on a card playoff. This score reduced Andy's handicap down to 10.1. Congratulations go to Andy. Runner up went to Walter Winstanley who also had a score of 4 Up but lost out to Andy on a card playoff. Walter reduced his handicap down to 7.9 following an exceptional scoring reduction. Third place went to Mike Durkin who also had a score of 4 Up to also miss out on a card playoff, reducing his handicap down to 14.9. 

Fourth place went to Bob Scott who had a score of 3 Up to reduce his handicap down to 15.7. Fifth place, with 2 Up, went to David Moreton which reduced his handicap down to 5.2. Sixth place went to Chris Bradburn who also had a score of 2 Up to reduce his handicap down to 14.5. Seventh place went to Andrew Rimmer who managed a score of 2 Up to reduce his handicap down to 10.0. Eighth place went to Bill Harrison who also had 2 Up reducing his handicap down to 11.1.
