Tuesday 24th January 

This weeks Ladies Competition was a Bonus Stableford over 13 holes and 40 players took part. The winner was Sarah Loy with a score of 33 points. Second was Di Scholes with 31 points. Finally in third place was Anne Smith also with 31 points. 


Thursday 26th January 

This weeks Thursday competition was a Stableford. Due to extremely unpleasant weather conditions we reduced the competition to nine holes. 30 players competed. The winner was David Tricket with 20 points. In second was Bill Oxley with 19 points. Third place went to John Culleton with 19 points. In fourth was Peter Whitehurst with 18 points. And finally in fifth was Mark Wilding also with 18 points. 


Saturday 14th January 

This weekends competition was a Betterball Stableford over 16 holes. The winners were Steve Wallis and Andrew Mason with 42 points. In second were Phil Scott and Andrew Bate with 41 points. In third place were Mike Alcock and Keith Isherwood with 41 points. Fourth place went to Bob Scott and Gareth Walter with 41 points. Finally in fifth place were Greg Osborne and Jake Hibbert again with 41 points. 


Hole in One

Our Junior Captain Ben Wallis started the year with his first ever hole in one. It came on Sunday at Delamere Forest Golf Club whilst playing the sixth hole a 149 yard par three. Ben used a nine iron.
