Tuesday 27th May

The Ladies competition this week was the 2nd Club. The Division 1 winner was Liz Faulkner who came in 3 up. The 2nd Division winner was Sue Greenhalgh who came in 1 up and finally the 3rd Division winner was Tracy Greaves who came in with a magnificent score of 8 up.

Thursday 29th May

62 players entered the Thursday Stroke Play Competition. The overall winner was Tony Shaw who came in with 77-10 nett 67. Overall runner-up and lowest gross score was Dan Young with 71-3 nett 68. 3rd place saw a flurry of players with nett 69, Matt Bromley winning on a card play off with 80-11 nett 69 followed by Graham Hartley 4th 80 -11 and Greg Ball also with nett 69 was 5th with 85 -16.

Saturday 31st May

The men's competition for the weekend was The Centenary Trophy. 182 players took part with the overall winner on the day being David Frangleton with 82-17 nett 65. The overall runner up who also had the lowest gross score was David Alcock 71-4 nett 67. 3rd place went to Jeremy Bradburn on a card play off 76-8 nett. Trevor Rigby was 4th with 77-9 nett 68.

Sunday 1st June

Diamond Jubliee Trophy , Ladies & Men's Competition

The overall winner of the men's competition was Mark Bell with 41 points . In second place was Derek McHugh with 39 points and third was Charlie Loy with 39 points. The Ladies overall winner was Jennifer Hart with 40 points and in second place was Chris Collier with 37 points and Lady Captain Morag Hales was third with 36 points.
