Monday, 26 June and Tuesday, 27 June There were 39 ladies that competed on the Monday of this two day competition. The winner of day one was Jo Carter with an 86 – 14 = 72. Ann Taylor finished runner up with an 89 – 17 = 72 to miss out on a card playoff. Third place went to Sue Murphy who had a 95 – 23 = 72 to also miss out on a card playoff. There were 36 ladies that competed on the Tuesday, in poor weather conditions. The winner of day two was Fiona Goddard who had an 82 – 11 = 71. Runner up was Margaret Davies with a 90 – 16 = 74. Third place was Edwina Greenwood who had a 99 – 24 = 75. The winner overall of the Ladies Cup was Sue Murphy who had a nett 147 over the two days. Congratulations go to Sue who reduced her handicap down to 22.9 as a result. Runner up went to Edwina Greenwood who finished with a nett 148 to reduce her handicap down to 23.5. Third place overall went to Fiona Goddard who managed a nett 150 which reduced her handicap down to 10.7.
Thursday, 29 June This week’s Thursday Yellow tee Stableford had 70 players competing. The winner was Stephen Titchard who had a great score of 42 points to win by one point and to reduce his handicap down to 8.0. Runner up was Paul Swift who had 41 points to reduce his handicap down to 5.2. Third place went to Ray Jones who had 40 Points to reduce his handicap down to 4.6. Fourth place went to Dan Young who also had 40 points to miss out on a card playoff but reduce his handicap down to +0.2. Fifth place went to Jerry Hilditch who also had 40 points to also miss out on a card playoff and to reduce his handicap down to 3.5. Saturday, 1 July This week's Saturday competition was the Monthly Medal and Isherwood Qualifier from June. The winner of Division one and the winner of the monthly medal was Matthew Bromley who had a great score of 77 – 9 = 67 nett to win the division on a card playoff. The runner up and losing out on a card playoff was Steve Daniels who had a score of 75 – 7 = 68 nett. Third place went to Roger Richards who shot an 80 – 11 = 69 Nett. Fourth place went to Adam Prinsep who shot a 71 – 2 = 69 nett to miss out on a card playoff. The winner of Division two was The winner of Division two was Stan Rhodes who had a score of 84 – 14 = 70 nett. Runner up went to Peter Davies who shot an 84 – 13 = 71 nett. Third place went to Bob Scott who shot an 87 – 16 = 71 nett to lose out on a card playoff. Fourth place went to Derek Brown who shot an 84 – 13 = 71 nett to also miss out on a card playoff. Sunday, 2 July This Sunday was this year's Club Championship which is a scratch medal held over 36 holes. This year there were 32 players competing. The leader after round one was Jake Hibbert, who made history last year in being the youngest winner of this competition, had a 69 which was enough to lead by only one shot over Dan Young. Chris Dunn was four behind after having a 73. Mike Haselden finished runner up after having a 69 in the second round to finish with a total of 144. Third place went to Will Mackay who had the best score of round two with a 69 to finish with a total of 145. However, defending champion Jake Hibbert had another good round with a 70 to finish with a total score of 139 to win by four shots. Congratulations go to Jake who still is only 15 years old! Thursday, 6 July This week’s Thursday White Tee strokeplay was another busy one with 88 players competing. The winner was Ron Hewitson who had a great score of 77 – 14 = 63 nett to win by three shots. Runner up was Ian Potter who had a score of 86 – 20 = 66 Nett to reduce his handicap down to 18.4. Third place went to Matthew Bate who had a score 72 – 6 = 66 Nett to miss out to on a card playoff and reduce his handicap down to 5.1. Fourth place went to Tony Osborne who had a score of 71 – 5 = 66 Nett to reduce his handicap down to 4.7. Fifth place went to Paul Guest who had a score of 83 – 17 = 66 Nett to reduce his handicap down to 15.9. The winner of the nine hole stableford competition was Ian Baird who had a score of 13 points. Friday, 7 July This Friday was a Ladies Stableford with 33 ladies competing. The winner of Division one was Fiona Goddard who had a score of 39 points to reduce her handicap down to 10.1. The runner up was Dot Campbell who also had 39 points to miss out on a card playoff but reduce her handicap down to 11.0. The winner of Division two was Barbara Young who had 37 points to reduce her handicap down to 31.3. Runner up went to Pat Maycock who had 36 points. Saturday, 8 July This week's Saturday competition was the Jubilee Trophy & Medal with 166 players competing. The entrants aged over 50 were competing for the Jubilee Trophy with the "young guns" competing in the Medal. The winner of the Jubilee Trophy was Guy Hindle who shot a fantastic 63 + 1 = 64 nett. Congratulations go to Guy with this score reducing his handicap down to +1.4. Runner up was Eddie Hemmings who shot a great score of 87 - 22 = 65 nett to reduce his handicap down to 19.1. Third place went to Stephen Carroll who shot a 71 - 6 = 65 nett to reduce his handicap down to 4.9. Fourth place went to Philip Adlem who had a score of 74 - 7 = 67 nett to reduce his handicap down to 5.7. Fifth place went to Walter Winstanley who shot a 76 - 9 = 67 nett to lose out on a card playoff but reduce his handicap down to 8.4. The winner of the Medal was Andrew Bate who had a great score of 70 - 3 = 67 nett to reduce his handicap down to 2.8.
Runner up was Connor McGregor who shot a 73 - 5 = 68 nett to reduce his handicap down to 4.2.
