Thursday, 4th Janaury On Thursday, 4th January the individual stableford was played. Congratulations to the winner Deb Parrington with a fantastic score of 45 points reducing his handicap to 19.6. In second place was Roy Delooze with 42 points which reduced his handicap 8.6. In third place was John Mulligan with a score of 42 points, reducing his handicap 18.7. Saturday, 6th January This week was a Betterball stableford competition. The top 3 were all tied on 42 points, however Liam Hale and Greg Osborne were victorious in a card playoff. In second place was Peter Hutchinson and Nigel Tudor. In third place was Howard Johnson and Brian Stewart. Liam Hale’s new handicap is 10, Greg Osborne’s new handicap is 2, and Peter Hutchinson’s new handicap is 12. Tuesday, 9th January On Tuesday, 9th January the ladies played in an individual stableford competition. Congratulations to Morag Hales winning with a score of 28 points. In second place was Dilys Peake with a score of 27 points. In third place was Anne Smith also with 27 points.
Thursday, 11th January Congratulations to the winner Bill Oxley with a great score of 44 points reducing his handicap to 16.8. In second place was Tony Osborne with 41 points which reduced his handicap 3.0. In third place was John Culleton with a score of 41 points, reducing his handicap 11.1. Saturday, 13th January This Saturday’s competition was an AM AM Stableford. With a tremendous score of 86 points, the winners were David Wilkinson, James Garside, Richard Ryves and Jonathan Thompson.
Following their victory their new Saturday winter handicaps have been reduced and they are as follows, D. Wilkinson 6, J. Garside 11, R. Ryves 8 and J. Thompson 18. In second place scoring 83 points, Liam Hale, Oli Woodall, Dave Hamilton and Paul Hamilton. In Third place was Iain Wright, Karl Irwin, Dave Fisher and Wayne Seed with a score of 81 points. New Saturday winter handicaps are as follows, O. Woodall 8, W. Seed 11, S.Carroll 2 and D. Mills 9. Congratulations to Liam Hale scoring a HOLE IN ONE on the 6th!
