Competition news

Thursday 28th February

This week’s competition was a yellow tee Stableford. Congratulations to John Warren on shooting a great score of 42 points. In second place missing out by one-shot was Roger Richards, and in third place was Terry Taylor also with 41 points. In fourth was Arthur King with 40 points.

9-Hole Competition

Congratulations to Phil Rylance winning with a great score of 19 points.

Saturday 2nd March

This week’s competition was a Am Am Stableford. Congratulations to the winners Graham Hughes, Steve Carroll, Danny Mills & Paul Hockenhull shooting a great score of 88 points. In second place with a score of 84 points was Brian Potter, Phil Wilkinison, Peter Edmonds & Andy Mason. In third place with 83 points was Stu Monro, Damian Morris-Adams, Julian Hardiman & Paul Horrocks. In fourth place with 82 points was James Boyd, Paul Guest, Barry Shutt & Keith Isherwood.

Tuesday 5th March

This week the ladies competition was a Betterball Stableford. Congratulations to the winners Anne Greenhough & Sue Lunn as they had a great score of 32 points. In second place with a score of 30 points was Elaine Bilton & Sue Tranter. In third place was Barbara Bradley & Judith Brown also shooting a score of 30 points.

Junior news

Junior Boys and Girls Group Lessons

Beginner sessions are every Sunday starting on April 21st 2019.

They will be between 1pm - 2pm and 2pm - 3pm.

Pushing the boundaries

Spotlight: Mizuno ST190 drivers

With two driver models to choose from in Mizuno's range, there's one key question that needs to be answered:

Forgiveness or adjustability?

If you're wanting maximum forgiveness we'd start by looking at the ST190, which has a fixed backweight for increased stability. If you have a specific miss (a slice for most club golfers) then we would look at setting up the ST190G to counteract that bad shot.
