Competition news

Thursday, 5 August

This week’s competition was a Yellow tee Stableford. Congratulations to Matt McKay winning the competition with a score of 42 points. In second place with a good score of 39 points was Roger Webster. In third place was Matt Marshall also with a score of 39 points and in fourth place with a score of 38 points was Frank Todd.

9-Hole Competition

Congratulations to Paul McGarry shooting a great score of 20 points. In second place Colin Smethurst shooting a good score of 19 points and in third place was Dave Knight with 19 points.

Saturday, 7 August

This week’s competition was the first round of the Fairclough Trophy which is a white tee medal. Congratulations to the winner Roger Webster with a fantastic score of nett 69. In second place with a nett 70 was Sam Harper. In third place was Keith Newnes with a score of nett 70 and in fourth place was Guy Hindle shooting a score of nett 71.

Sunday, 8 September

This week’s competition was a White tee Medal. Congratulations to the winner Tony Salt shooting a good score of nett 68. In second place with nett 70 was Trevor Young and in third place was Mark Wilding with a good score of nett 72.

This week was the 18-hole Junior Moss Trophy. Congratulations to Kane Bennion on winning with a great score of nett 65. In second place was Max Burgess with a score of nett 69 and in third place was Josh Jones shooting score of nett 71.

Congratulations to Kane Bennion reducing his handicap from 23 to 19.

Tuesday, 10 September

This week’s competition was the Ladies Macmillan & Stableford. Congratulations to Division one winner Sheena Heseltine on shooting a good score of 32 points. In second place with 30 points was Fiona Davies and in third place was Anne Greenhough also with 30 points.

Congratulations to the overall and Division two winner Maddie Hurst on shooting a great score of 38 points. In second place with 36 points was Liz Garside with 36 points and in third place with 33 points was Liz Hatton.

They've done it again...
