Competitions
Tuesday 27th January
Finally, thanks to the improved weather this week the ladies managed to get out and play a competition. 44 ladies competed in a pairs Texas Scramble held over 13 holes. The winning pair consisted of Fiona Goddard & Paula Hodkinson who managed a score of 52 – 5.6 = 46.4. Runners up were Alison Donaldson & Ann Hale who had a score of 59 – 10.6 = 48.4. Third place went to Val Wickens & Lady Vice Captain Jean Warburton with a score of 52 – 3.4 = 48.6. 5 ladies competed in the 9 hole competition with Tricia Jones being the winner with 15 Points after winning on a card playoff of the back 6 holes.
Thursday 22nd January
Once again no Thursday competition this week due to the poor weather.
Saturday 24th January
Unfortunately, with the arrival of quite a lot of snow on the Friday, this week’s Saturday competition was cancelled as the course was closed all weekend.
