We are excited to announce that we have also now received delivery of even more of our demo clubs and new ranges. We now have demo clubs in both Callaway and Mizuno available to try on the course or during a FlightScope fitting. This means we can provide full custom fittings on any of the latest ranges including Titleist, Callaway, PING, Mizuno & Nike with the use of our FlightScope launch monitor.
The new Callaway XR range
Callaway's new XR range is built for outrageous speed. The range of XR drivers, fairways and hybrids deliver more distance whilst being easier to hit.
The XR driver features a new Speed Step Crown on top of the crown to reduce drag and maximise speed through the swing. Callaway have also combined this with an optimised aerodynamic head shape to produce maximum aero efficiency which is critical to add speed with less drag.
The forgiveness comes from the R-Moto face technology. This is used to increase ball speeds across the face by reducing 10% of face weight to make it thinner. This leads to more energy efficient energy transfer and allows Callaway to put the centre of gravity 17% lower to deliver higher moment of inertia for the extra forgiveness. It also comes with Callway's OptiFit adjustability. You can choose from 8 different loft and lie configurations to find the perfect launch for your ball flight.
The XR fairway woods and hybrids have been constructed to give golfers more speed, distance and versatility. But don't take our word for it, click here to book your club fitting and try these clubs for yourself.
New Mizuno JPX850 equipment
Mizuno's new JPX850 range utilises the latest technology to deliver greater distance and increased forgiveness. The JPX850 driver has a piercing blue colour crown, first seen on tour in April 2014, and uses twin 8-gram weights which can be located on either the central sliding rail, or two lateral slots. With 10 unique settings, players of all head speeds can dial in their perfect launch and spin.
In combination with Mizuno's Quick Switch shaft release system, the JPX850 driver also offers lofts from 7.5 degrees to 11.5 degrees within one head for the ultimate in adjustability.
The piercing blue JPX850 head is a compact, powerful 440cc and utilizes a Hot Metal face and Rebound Crown to maximize balls speeds.
The JPX850 fairway woods and hybrids primary characteristic is the Shock Wave sole which is to enable the entire club head to contract and expand on impact - delivering an additional energy source to the clubface. The additional mass also lowers the head's centre of gravity, maintaining high ball speeds directly off the turf.
Again if you would like to try any of these ranges out then please feel free to contact the pro shop by phone or email to book in a trial of a demo club. However we would most definitely recommend booking a fitting on our FlightScope launch monitor to ultimately determine which clubs are best for your game.
