Tuesday 9th June
This week's ladies competition was the Norma Moore Trophy & Old Mutual Wealth Challenge Qualifier with the winner going forward to compete at the Daily Telegraph Old Mutual Wealth Golf Challenge. There were 68 ladies competing and the winner was Lena O'Connor who had 91 - 20 = 71 to win on a card playoff and reduce her handicap down to 19.1. Runner up went to Jennifer Hart who had 82 - 11 = 71 to miss out on the card playoff to Lena. Third place went to Bridget Gray who shot a 92 - 19 = 73. This reduced Jennifer's handicap down to 10.9. The winner of the nine hole competition was Gwyneth Parry who had 13 Stableford Points.
Thursday 11th June
This week's Thursday competition was a White Tee medal with 95 players competing. The top three places were decided on a card playoff with the winner being Tony Shaw who shot a great score of 74 - 8 = 66 with the best back nine of the three players to reduce his handicap down to 6.7. Runner up spot went to Steve Fathers who had a 71 - 6 = 66 to miss out on a card playoff but still reduce his handicap down to 4.6. Third place went to Alan Preston who had a 94 - 28 = 66 to also miss out on a card playoff but reduce his handicap down to 26.0. Fourth place went to Will Mackay who shot a 71 - 4 = 67 to reduce his handicap down to 3.5. Fifth and final place went to Julian Hurst who had a 70 - 2 = 68 which reduced his handicap down to 2.1.
Saturday 13th June
This week's Saturday competition was Round 1 of the Captain's Prize with Round 2 taking place this Saturday. The winner of Round 1 was Matt Penswick who shot a brilliant score of 68 - 3 = 65 to lead by 2 shots going into the second round and reducing his handicap to 2.6. Runner up went to Charles Asbury who shot a 78 - 11 = 67 to reduce his handicap down to 10.6. Third place currently is Junior Captain Ben Wallis who shot a 71 - 4 = 67 to sit also two shots back. Fourth place went to Jack Bromley who had a 83 - 15 = 68 to reduce his handicap down to 14.5. Fifth place went to Mike Moss who shot a 80 - 11 = 69 to reduce his handicap to 10.8. Sixth place went to Phil Moreton who had a score of 71 - 2 = 69 to reduce his handicap to 1.5. Seventh place went to Tommy Mahood who had a 75 - 6 = 69 to reduce his handicap down to 5.4. Eighth place went to Neil Arber who shot a 75 - 6 = 69 to reduce his handicap down to 5.3.
