Tuesday 25th August
On Tuesday 48 ladies played for the Olive Ashton Plate. The winner with 37 points was Liz Faulkner. In second place with 36 points on a card playoff was Paula Hodkinson and beaten in to third place was Pauline Goulden also on 36 points.
Thursday 27th August
This week's Thursday competition had 96 players competing with the format being a white tee medal. The winner was Brad Read who had a fantastic score of 65 gross playing off scratch. Runner up was Callum Hopkins who had a gross score of 76 with a net of 65 which reduced his handicap down to 6.5 after an exceptional scoring reduction. Third place went to Joe Quinn who had also had a net 66 playing off 14 and reduced to 12.3. Fourth place went to Dan Young who had a 68 playing off scratch. Fifth place went to Paul Robinson for the second week running who also had a score of net 68 to reduce his handicap to 8.4.
Saturday 29th August
This week's Saturday competition was an Individual Stableford with 162 players competing. The competition was split into two divisions. The winner of the of Division 1 was the in form Callum Hopkins who scored 41 points . Runner up was Dave Mchugh with 40 points. Third place went to David Sahlman also on 40 points but losing on a card playoff. The winner of Division 2 was Martin Barratt who had 41 points, second place went to David French with 40 points and third place went to Graham Adcroft on a card play off with 39 points.
Monday 31st August
The normal Bank Holiday Mixed was replaced with the mixed board competition the Sharp Trophy, which was postponed due to bad weather earlier in the summer. The weather had not improved greatly but 34 couples battled through the rain. The winners of this greensome medal were Tom and Alison Donaldson (pictured) with a fantastic net score of 66. In second place were Ron and Anne Hewitson with 66.4. Third were Stuart and Sue Tranter with 66.6 on a card play off from Jim Edwards and Marie Stacey who finished fourth.
