Tuesday 3rd November

This week's ladies competition was a Betterball Stableford which had 46 ladies playing. The winning team was Bridget Gray & Anne Hewitson who had a great score of 41 Points to win by 6 points! The runners up were Georgina Hales & Di Lamb who had a score of 35 Points. Third place went to Di Scholes & Helena McNeil who had 34 Points to beat one other pairing on a card playoff. The winner of the 9 hole individual stableford was Marion Burke who had 13 Points.

Thursday 5th November

This week's Thursday competition had 38 players competing in the last qualifying Thursday competition of the season with the format being a white tee strokeplay. The winner, on a very windy and wet day, was Jim Nulty who had a great score in the conditions of 94 - 24 = 70 to win by one shot. This score reduced Jim's handicap down to 22.0. Runner up was Gary O'Neill who had a score of 79 - 8 = 71 which reduced his handicap down to 7.0. Third place went to Steve Fathers who had a score of 76 - 4 = 72 to reduce his handicap down to 4.2. Fourth place went to Adam Mannion who a score of 80 - 6 = 74. Fifth place went to David Trickett who had a score of 95 - 20 = 75 to beat two other players on a card playoff into the prizes.

Saturday 7th November

This week's Saturday competition was to be the last qualifying men's competition of the season with the Remembrance Trophy due to take place. Unfortunately it was cancelled due to the course being flooded.
